EX-EDITORIAL by Richard Karsmakers

Since I kinda anticipated Stefan forgetting this, and since I
actually arranged just about everything with regard to this
issue's 'success', I thought I had the right to write this
editorial. So I did and here be it.

Twentyfive issues of ST NEWS. Ain't it something?
When I look back at the time that was used to publish them - the
last three years - I get something clogging my throat. Fond
memories of the ol' days linger back into my mind, as well as
similar memories about our first review game we received, the
fantastic relationship with the major software companies and all
those nice friends and other contacts ST NEWS supplied us with.
But, most of all, I think back of the fun Stefan and myself have
had during the last year of creating the magazine. He grew to be
my dearest friend - someone I'd like to dedicate a disk magazine
to if only I were in the position to do so.
Since the day Stefan took over, ST NEWS has been blossoming
beyond human (or, at least - my) comprehension. The program
itself is now perfect, and our inspiration is still as vivid as
can be.
With an excellent editor like Stefan, it is a joy to be a mere
'special correspondent'. Since we both share lots of tastes with
regard to music and certain fluids, each finishing of ST NEWS
ends up in something too unique and chaotic to describe. And it's
different each time. Also, he's a GREAT programmer whose talents
deserve to be discovered by someone who pays him BIG money for
it.
So I'd like you all to start appreciating this guy - Stefan
hasn't received ONE donation in the whole year that went by since
he took over!! Just be a good sport and donate some money by
sending it to him personal or by transferring it to his giro
account number (see the ST NEWS Colofon). Keeping up the ST NEWS
mailing list alone costs us about 200 Dutch guilders per issue
(that's approximately £55 or $80)...
Anyway: Cheers to the best editor you can get, and a very good
friend!

Have fun reading this issue of ST NEWS. We had enormous loads of
fun creating it,

Sincerely,

Richard Karsmakers
('Special Master Correspondent' of ST NEWS)

P.S. I'd like to dedicate every single line I've written for this
issue of ST NEWS to the loveliest girl on earth, Miranda,
who gave me the amount of love and attention needed to
perform this job in the first place.
Yippie! Richard found himself a girl!!
