IN THE ZIP ARCHIVE: BACKWARD.252 - "Backward" v2.52, program to run more ST stuff on a Falcon. Needs 4 Mb. FBOOT - "FBoot" v1.2, more compact and easier to use than "Backward" but can't get as much running. Falcon only. Be sure to have an empty disk handy. BDU - "Backup Destruction Utility" v1.0, *the* program to get rid of all your backup files. Why better than the others? It's configurable. Works on any system (including Falcon). GEM - Sample code for the "GEM Programming" course. You might find it useful even when you're not into GEM programming. ST_ZIP.2_4 - Archive utility "ST Zip" v2.4. Works on any machine, is really effective, and can be trusted utterly. The folder contains the "ST Zip" package with the exception of the actual program (see below). HARDWARE.TXT - Text file containing Dan Hollis' infamous "hardware registers" list. As it was impossible to reformat to the "ST NEWS" page width it's present in ASCII form. Also contains cookie jar descriptions, exception vector table info and lots more. Use an editor/word processor and Bob's Your Uncle. SYSINFO.PRG - THE most extensive system checking utility available. Works on any system and any configuration you might care to hurl it at. NOT IN THE ZIP ARCHIVE: STZIP.PRG - You can't use FEATURES.ZIP without this. Specify the "features.zip" file when "ST Zip" asks you to specify a "ZIP" file. Define a drive or partition with enough empty space in the right selector, select "Extract", confirm selection of all files, and it will extract all files.
