"The llama is a quadruped.
Which lives in big rivers like the Amazon.
It has two ears, a heart, a forehead, and a beak for eating
honey.
Olé.
It is also provided with fins for swimming.
Llamas are bigger than frogs.
Llamas are, however, very dangerous.
So if you see one where people are swimming, shout: Look out.
There are llamas."
Monty Python quote (Live at Drury Lane)
DID YOU KNOW THAT...
by Richard Karsmakers
Concerning ST NEWS
...this is the sixth undead issue of ST NEWS, Volume 7 Issue 3?
...it is the 33rd issue in total?
...it was finished on November 15th 1992?
...this issue is dedicated to the prime European band, Whistler
Courbois Whistler?
...details about them may be found in a separate dedication
article?
...this issue's picture was done by Scum?
...this piece of artwork was submitted to the graphics
competition of the ST NEWS International Christmas Coding
Convention (1990)?
...this issue's rather spiffin' music was done by Big Alec of the
Delta Force?
...we are very proud to offer this song called "Tubular Bells
Remix"?
...we have several of his pieces of music lined up for future
issues?
...we have acquired some fiction by the Two Bryans (i.e. B.
Kennerley and B. Joyce) again?
...I personally think it's rather brilliant stuff?
...our insanely witty friend Gard "Drag" Eggesbø Abrahamsen has
confided to his word processor some enchanting stories, too?
...Gard's Geo of Lament features auto-biographical accounts of
his love life (or, rather, total lack of it)?
...Jeff Minter, whom we sent our previous couple of issues, has
reported that ST NEWS works OK on the "Falcon"?
...we were happy to be able to confirm this on last August's
Düsseldorf Atari Messe?
...ST NEWS was reviewed in last August's issue of Future
Publishing's ST/Amiga/PC magazine "Public Domain"?
...it got 90%, a fact of which we were quite proud?
...in November's issue of "ST Review" it got a "five star" rating
(which was the best of all disk magazines reviewed, others
including "STEN", "Maggie" and "Ledgers", which are some of
the best around in my opinion)?
...we were even more proud of that?
..."JournaLYNX", the exhilleratingly exciting Lynx-dedicated sub-
magazine of ST NEWS, has been discontinued?
...the reason behind it is that, simply, there wasn't enough to
say to justify a separate article for it?
...reviews and Lynx news may as of now be acquired in the other
articles?
...this "Did you know that..." column now also contains a
separate "Lynx" section?
...I hope this makes up for the lack of the submagazine?
...the "ST NEWS Adventure Index", listing all adventure solutions
with a reference to the ST NEWS issue they've appeared in, has
been added as a new "regular"?
...this issue also features the third occurrence of the "Big ST
NEWS Popularity Poll"?
...it will be its last appearance, though, and the results will
be published in ST NEWS Volume 8 Issue 1?
...several people have expressed the thought of wanting ST NEWS
to be joined by a fiction-only disk magazine?
...this will happen shortly?
...this fiction-only addition to ST NEWS will consist of all
decent bits of prose ever featured in our mag?
...there will be no original bits in it, apart from the fact that
all texts will have been proofread again and that some of the
bits off review introduction novels will be altered so as to
make sense without the actual review stuff?
...it will be spread as an ASCII text file, so as to allow all
computer owners to get access to it, much in the fashion of
other fiction-only on-line magazines such as "Quanta" and
"DargonZine"?
...the first issue is due for release after this issue of ST
NEWS, so you can start making your non-ST friends aware of it
now already?
...its provisional (but probably final) name will be "Twilight
Zone"?
...it will be bi-annual?
...this ST NEWS issue's "PROGRAMS" folder has some interesting
stuff to offer?
...it is largely dedicated to some depacking programs written by
our good friends Mike Mee, Marinos Yannikos and Mike Watson?
...I have a small extra bit of information about Marinos'
"Naughty Depacker" that is not mentioned in the manual?
...it entails the saving of the settings?
...this can be done by clicking on the "Naughy Depacker" box?
...the PROGRAMS folder also offers a neat resident virus
protector by Chris Brookes?
...we're also particularly proud of being able to offer an old
(ex-commercial) Michtron/Microdeal game as shareware?
...it's called "Mudpies", it works on colour systems only and it
is fiendishly playable?
...it's one of the very best of the ancient ST games, and surely
the one I used to play most often (after the fairly huge "Time
Bandits", of course)?
...we have a new distributor in Greece?
...his name is George Moschowitis (Megalord of the Terminators)
and his address details can be found in the "Colophon"
article?
...he is our 13th distributor in total?
...we recently received a somewhat insane contribution from two
zany Scotsmen?
...it's called "Perverts Monthly", and may be found in the
"Features" menu?
42
...I am doing some research for an article on the number "42"
(the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything)?
...I will melt the results of that research in an article for a
forthcoming issue of ST NEWS?
...this article is meant to mention 42 Kb worth of things in
daily life that revolve around this wholly remarkable number?
...I am looking for people who are born on the 42nd day of the
year and things that happen to have the number "42" attached
to them in some other way?
...these events may be from your personal life, but it would be
even better if you just ran into them in fairly ordinary but
more general life?
...you can send any suggestions to me (my address is located a
bit further down in this column)?
Music
...Paradise Lost, who during the creation of the previous ST NEWS
issue stunned my personal universe with their "Gothic", has in
the mean time released their third CD?
...it's called "Shades of God" and is really excellent?
...if you liked their second CD but didn't like their first too
much, then you'll surely like it?
...they have recently also released a most excellent EP called
"As I Die"?
...a Paradise Lost fanclub has also been formed?
...for information you should send a letter plus reply postage
(or International Reply Coupons) to "the PAINLESS", P.O. Box
411, Bradford, West Yorkshire, DB6 2LQ, England?
...if you include a postal order or cheque to the amount of £7
you will be automatically enrolled for a life-long membership?
...Kreator's latest CD, "Renewal", is truly great?
..., although Mille's singing is monotonous most of the time,
Ventor's drumming has improved immeasurably?
...they now also use atmospheric samples and stuff?
...some of their songs have parts reminiscent of Iron Maiden or
The Field of the Nephilim?
...Joe Satriani's latest, "The Extremist", is a very good CD too?
...it's not as Satrianesque as the previous ones, though?
...my favourite song is "War", but the rest is brilliant too
(except, perhaps, for "New Blues")?
...I like it more each time I listen to it?
...Satriani will be performing at Utrecht's Vredenburg on
February 11th 1993?
...I will go there for certain, and I will comment on my
experiences there in the next issue of ST NEWS?
...I finally got Mads Eriksen's debut CD, "Journey"?
...thanks have to go to Kai for actually arranging it for my
birthday?
...it's about as brilliant as the second CD, "Storyteller", that
I mentioned two or three issues back, though its production
isn't as refined?
...Mads Eriksen is one of the best and most underrated (and
unknown) guitarists?
...another fairly unknown guitar player is Hungarian Tamas
Szekeres?
...he has released a second CD recently, called "Guitar Tales"?
...it's quite good and quite long (70 minutes of instrumental
music), but just suffers from seeming to plod on, without true
variations?
..., nonetheless, Tamas' control of the guitar is quite
excellent?
...bass guitar was played, incidentally, by WCW member Barend
Courbois?
...Marty Friedman, ex-Cacophony and current member of Megadeth,
has finally released his second solo album?
...this project was originally scheduled for release in April
1991, together with a similar project by Jason Becker?
...Friedman's second album is called "Scenes"?
...half of the eight tracks were produced by Japanese synth
virtuoso Kitaro?
...this CD is totally different from any other stuff done by
Marty?
...most tracks have no drums, but still sound uncannily brilliant
in some way?
...if I were to try and describe what it sounds like, I would go
for "a cross between Gandalf, Al DiMeola and Joe Satriani"?
...it's an album that the non-heavy people among you will
certainly also like?
...it may indeed be one of the best instrumental albums this
year?
..., if you're into heavy post-modern neo-classical Gothic doom,
you'll definitely like My Dying Bride's debut full-length CD,
"As the Flower Withers"?
...it's totally brilliant, full of atmopshere and generally
great?
...their debut EP, "Symphonaire Infernus et Spera Empyrium",
should not be neglected either?
...My Dying Bride is probably the most mind-burblingly, ear-
soothingly, brain-stirringly excellent band of the latter half
of 1992?
...the star of a new guitarist is rising?
...it's another guy contracted by Shrapnel records, but he
differs considerably from the others?
...for starters he plays acoustic guitar only, and he's also
German?
...he's called Bernd Steidl and his album is called "Psycho
Acoustic Overture"?
...it was officially released on October 19th this year?
...I am planning to contact him soon, which might eventually lead
to some sort of interview?
..., on a totally different field of music, I'd like to advise
everybody to buy Mariah Carey's "MTV Unplugged EP"?
...it is simply amazing how this gorgeous girl can sing so
beautifully?
...it really sends shivers down my spine, especially when she
really lets go?
...I think Mariah Carey is definitely the best female singer in
the world?
...she even beats Kate Bush, whom I previously considered to be
one of the very best?
...Vangelis has released a new CD?
...it's the motion picture soundtrack from "1492 - Conquest of
Paradise"?
...it has quite a bit of chanting in it but is definitely a great
musical achievement as is usual with the synthesizer virtuoso?
...the film was done by Ridley Scott (who also did "Blade Runner"
for which Vangelis did the score)?
...a CD single also appeared, which features two previously
unreleased tracks that are of the same vein as Vangelis' "The
City"?
..., on the bootleg front, there is also some news to be heard?
...a double-CD off Rush' latest European tour is one of the more
noteworthy releases?
...the quality is excellent, and it features 127 minutes of
music?
...an Italian bootleg manufacturer has surpassed himself by
publishing a Metallica bootleg that beats all previous ones?
...it's a triple-CD box with a photo booklet and sortof a poster?
...it features 24 tracks (of which many consist of several
parts)?
...sound quality is near-commercial, without the minor flaws that
marked "Detroit Bad Boys", the bootleg that I mentioned in the
previous issue of ST NEWS?
...it features over three hours of music?
...it's a truly breathtaking piece of musical achievement?
...the full sound list (with the tracks themselves taken to
pieces) is "Intro" ("For a Fistful of Dollars"), "Creeping
Death", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)"
(including a Jimi Hendrix "Third Stone from the Sun" excerpt),
"Sad But True", "Wherever I May Roam", "Harvester of Sorrow",
"The Four Horsemen", "Bass Solo" (including "Orion Part II"
and "The God the Failed" excerpt), "Through the Never", "The
Unforgiven", "Justice for All Medley" ("Eye of the Beholder",
"Blackened", "Frayed Ends of Insanity", "...And Justice for
All", "Whole Lotta Rosie" excerpt and "Dazed and Confused"
excerpt), "Drum Solo" (including "Fuckin' Metallica Joke",
"War Pigs" excerpt, Slayer song excerpt "Raining Blood",
"Munsters" soundtrack excerpt, Jimi Hendrix song excerpt,
"Smoke on the Water" excerpt, "Mistreated" and "Guitar Solo"),
"Nothing Else Matters", "Of Wolf and Man", "Fade to Black",
"Whiplash", "Enter Sandman", "Master of Puppets", "Seek &
Destroy", "One", "Last Caress", "Am I Evil?", "Damage Inc."
and "Breadfan" (including a "Trapped Under Ice" excerpt)?
...this effectively gets down to a massive 42 tracks?
...the package identification code is MEBX 006/7/8, and world-
wide distribution is in the hands of M.G.R. Records S.r.l.,
Via Lamarmora 33/3, I-16035 Rapallo (GE), Italy, Fax ++39-
(0)257-402890?
..., especially if you have a fax, this is much worth checking
out?
...Furyo (of the Overlanders) told me Metallica sold more
regular albums in the US than Michael Jackson?
...I don't know whether this pertain overall sale of all albums,
or just the sale of "Metallica" compared with "Dangerous"?
...in any case, I think it's a Great Achievement?
...Metallica will soon be releasing two home videos, called "One
and a Half Year in the Life of Metallica" parts I and II?
...somewhere in 1993 they should release a fairly long 'live'
video of the short tour they did in 1989 (or was it 1990) with
additional material from their current tour?
...the total playing time of these home videos should be over
four hours?
...the proposed live video for later release should also have
that approximate playing time (source: Interview with Lars
Ulrich, MTV Headbangers Ball, 8-11-1992)?
...Yngwie Malmsteen divorced his wife Erika after having been
married for about 6 months?
...I kinda guessed this would happen for I think nobody can live
together with such an arrogant twat?
Films
...it's a very bad idea to go and rent the film "King Solomon's
Mines" (starring Richard Chamberlain)?
...it's a blatant "Indiana Jones" rip-off, and a bad one at that?
...the only decent things about it were the music (by Jerry
Goldsmith) and the sexy accent adopted by Sharon Stone when
speaking German?
..., speaking of Jerry Goldsmith, I am desperately searching for
his compiled soundtracks CD called "The Soundtracks"?
...it's sold out here and I'd really like to get my hands on it
if one of you has it (or knows how to get it)?
...another rather poor film to go and rent would be "Bill & Ted's
Excellent Adventure"?
...the film has its funny moments but the story as such (as well
as the acting) is rather full of crap?
...the rip-off of "Bill & Ted's", "Wayne's World" (or perhaps the
first ripped off the latter) is somewhat more enjoyable?
...it's a very zany film with lots of weird things happening,
that you'd no doubt like to see once it's available on video?
...it's slightly superfluous to pay for the entrance in a
flippin' cinema to go and see it?
...the sequel to "Bill & Ted's" - "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" is
also much more interesting?
...it's got a better story, much more funny moments and all that?
...the trouble is that you should have seen the first to get to
the bottom of understanding the first?
...I guess you'd therefore not have too bad an evening if you
rent both of 'em?
...I've seen "Alien 3"?
...I think it's a very atmospheric film with excellent visuals
and all, but it's less exciting than any of the two prequels?
...the main thing against it is that you're not as much on the
edge of your seats, and you generally know what'll happen?
...another cinema thing, "The Player" is sortof a very witty
film?
...it's a parody on the supposed real life of Hollywood's
producers, and very funny?
...the problem is that you would have to have seen dozens of
other films to truly understand it, and lots of the humour is
much too subtle for large audiences?
...an excellent film to rent is Ridley Scott's "Legend"?
...it stars Tom Cruise, but he doesn't actually make it a bad
film?
...it's the story of the last two unicorns, a fight against
evil incarnated and the salvation of a beautiful maiden in a
craftfully conveyed world of fantasy?
...make-up and special effects are totally brilliant?
...it can compete with fantasy masterpieces such as "Labyrinth",
"The Dark Crystal", "Neverending Story" (part I, of course,
for part II rather sucked) and "Krull"?
...check out your local video rental?
...in my opinion the best film of 1992, however, is Steven
Spielberg's "Hook"?
...it's a truly and amazingly brilliant film with excellent
acting, great make-up effects, good atmosphere and a fantastic
story?
...it is definitely my most favourite film since 1991's
"Terminator II", 1990's "Total Recall" and 1989's "Abyss"?
...it's a film you really need to have seen?
...it's already available on video by now?
...a totally different video is the most recent Gwar home video,
"Phallus in Wonderland"?
...it's an "18" rated one-hour film that is extremely provocative
to say the least?
...its story is about Oderus Urungus' phallus having been
abducted and put to trial as a witness to Gwar's supposedly
rude and obscene behaviour?
...it's a stinging comment on current-day censorship in the US,
and one that succeeds in provoking quite a lot?
...it's an artistically fabulous piece of work, though sometimes
blatantly tasteless (and, indeed, obscene and lewd)?
...another bit of news from the video front is the release of the
Disney masterpiece "Fantasia"?
...this is definitely one of the best cartoons ever made,
consisting of about half a dozen thematic animated movies put
together to several classic classical tunes?
...it starts off slightly too experimental for my taste, but
eventually climaxes with stunning masterpieces drawn to
Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" and Moussorgsky's "Night on the
Bald Mountain"?
...it's a must for the dedicated video/animated movie freak?
...a special package is available containing both the regular
video and a "the making of" thing, together with a book and
two digitally remastered soundtrack compact discs?
...this would certainly be worthwhile for die-hard Dislunatics?
...a similar box is also available of "Terminator II"?
..., likewise, it also contains a "the making of" video and a
book?
Books and magazines
...Douglas Adams finally released the fifth part of the
increasingly inaccurately named "Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy" trilogy?
...it's published by Heinemann rather than Pan, and is called
"Mostly Harmless"?
...it was released in the 42nd week of this year?
...more comments on this release may be found in the "Sortof
literary department", elsewhere in ST NEWS?
...the first books in Stephen Donaldson's new series (after
"Thomas Covenant" and "Mordant's Need") are available finally?
...this new series is called the Gap series?
...the first three books of five are called "The Gap Into
Conflict - The Real Story", "The Gap Into Vision - Forbidden
Knowledge" and "The Gap Into Power - A Dark and Hungry God
Arises"?
...more about it may be read elsewhere in this issue of ST NEWS?
...I am referring her to a sortof literary bit again?
...the following entry doesn't have anything to do with
literature, even though it does have something to do with
books?
...UK ST Club (of Paul Glover) has recently signed a contract
with yours truly to the effect of publishing the "Ultimate
Virus Killer Book"?
...this book should be pretty close to being available 'in the
shops' as you read this?
...Future Publishing's "Public Domain" has folded?
...their demise has been noted with mixed feelings in the Public
Domain world?
...the English games magazine "ZERO" had a facelift?
...ever since their recent July issue they were loads more
aggressive and full-of-colour?
...I've heard it say that nobody in the computer magazine
publishing world (i.e. the people behind "Ace", "The One", "ST
Action", "ST Format", etc.) took "ZERO" seriously?
..., nevertheless, they were "magazine of the year" in 1991 - for
the second year running?
...it is therefore a mystery to me why they folded after their
October 1992 issue?
...I will surely miss the magazine, no matter how tasteless some
people may have thought it was?
Atari
...the Falcon is surely a corker of a machine?
...the word "Falcon" used to be a code name in the early eighties
for Ataritel, an Atari telecommunications project?
...several companies are already reported to be developing on the
new Atari wonder machine?
...all details about the Falcon may be found in a separate
feature article that is bound to tell you a couple of things
you may not know?
...Atari had better make the Falcon a success machine?
...Atari Corp. booked a loss of 13.4 million US$ in the first
quarter of 1992?
...this is quite bad, as their loss in the same period last year
was 'only' 2 million US$?
...Atari lost their court case against Nintendo (who alledgedly
monopolized the market in a way that is illegal in the
States)?
...this is a bad thing?
...the Atari Panther (the games console thing) hasn't been heard
of much of late?
...I have an interesting bit of information on it nonetheless?
...it will have two DSP chips built in, among other things?
...this is slightly exciting of course?
..., if you don't know what a DSP is, you should refer to the
article on the Falcon that I mentioned earlier and that is
located elsewhere in this issue of ST NEWS?
Software
...GfA Systemtechnik will release version 3.7 of "GfA Basic"?
...lots of faulty information regarding "GfA Basic" has appeared
in most German magazines?
...most particular German "ST Magazin" has been publishing
totally dated and incorrect information that you should
quickly forget in case you've read it?
...as it happens, the new version will be using GEM, will be
utterly legally programmed, totally rewritten in "Pure C", and
will be able to use multiple windows?
...new options will include conditional compiling and records?
...full compatibility with previous versions should be assured?
...this information is 100% reliable as I have close contact with
one of the programmers of version 3.7?
...I will also be a beta tester of the thing?
...it should be available before the end of the year?
...it will be fully "MultiTOS" compatible?
...this is some very good news?
...Ocean are soon to release "The Games - España '92"?
...screenshots look fairly promising?
...Psygnosis have also done a sports sim?
...it is called "The Carl Lewis Challenge"?
...you can check out a full review of it, elsewhere in this issue
of ST NEWS?
...Electronic Arts have dropped the ST completely?
...even their development of the ST version of John Madden's
"American Football" has been discontinued?
...Microprose have bought Vektor Grafix?
...VG's latest game is "Shuttle", published by Virgin?
Lynx
...there should be a fair amount of games for the Lynx before
1993?
...Atari tells us they're expecting "Batman Returns",
"Dinolympics", "Double Dragon", "Eye of the Beholder",
"Lemmings", "Pinball Jam", "Rolling Thunder", "Shadow of the
Beast", "Super Asteroids/Missile Command" and "Switchblade
II"?
...Atari UK's Lynx sales have increased by 40%?
...the Lynx II is now selling very well?
...Atari is planning to release a 4 Megabit cartridge soon?
...the game will be called "Dracula", and should redefine the
boundaries of graphic amounts and that sort of thing?
...a recent Lynx release that is quite worth while purchasing is
the originally French game "Super Skweek"?
...Miranda (my schnoozepootz) is totally addicted to it?
...it's basically the same as the ST version but, well, a tad
different?
...a fairly impressive release that I have not had hands-on
experience with is "Steel Talons"?
...this is a helicopter simulator that seems pretty neat from
what someone showed me?
...Atari is at the moment mainly living off Lynx games sales,
what with ST sales dropping and the Falcon not yet selling?
Hardware
...Third Coast Technologies have gone bust?
...this event has been looked upon with mixed emotions, as they
had built up quite a bad name in the field of customer
relations so I heard?
...there is really little stuff of interest in this issue's
"hardware" bit of this column?
...there is very little hardware news in this time's "Did you
know that..." column?
Disk Magazines
...Budgie quit licenseware?
...it also dumped all disk mags?
...following their dumping of the disk mags they also advised all
other Public Domain libraries to dump them too?
...they considered this necessary because disk magazines have a
bad mentality (they mentioned "Maggie" as example)?
...I find this utter bullshit?
...I am glad to find that many PD libraries have at least not
dumped ST NEWS?
...I have found it necessary to ventilate my anger at censorship
at several occasions in and around this ST NEWS issue, for
which I hope you will all excuse me?
...reviews of recent disk magazine releases may be read elsewhere
in this issue of ST NEWS?
Miscellaneous
...I recently had a go at breaking my personal 3.6 million
"Llamatron" hiscore?
...I got to approximately 4.5 million and, with over one hundred
lives left, the screen went blank and the program utterly
crashed?
...it left me rather thoroughly annoyed?
...some weeks later I had another go?
...this time I milked the bullets shot at me by the Ozric
Tentacle until the score of about 2 million had increased to
about 8.5 million?
...no crash had occurred, and I had also been able to milk about
500 lives to start the next, more difficult, round with?
...I had spend 2.5 hours milking, each time quickly dying when I
accidentally killed the Tentacle so that one of its stray
bullets could still kill me, allowing me to continue milking?
...on the second time round I got stuck on level 51 simply
because there was no way to shoot all of the opponents in
time?
...this was very frustrating?
...all in all I managed to get a saved hiscore of 9,638,572?
...I am quite proud of that feat?
...next time I attempt it (if indeed I ever will) I will try to
go through to 10 million before continueing with the second
round?
...one of our good friends and contributors, Bryan Kennerley, got
a hiscore of 110 million on "Revenge of the Mutant Camels"?
...I guess he's the uncrowned King of Camels, after having
chucked Stefan off this throne?
...house music was orginally played years ago in gay clubs?
...I just thought all house haters out there would like to know
this?
..., years after it got published first (and reviewed in ST NEWS
in 1989, I seem to recall), I finally got my hands on "Your
Second Manual to the Atari ST" by Andreas Ramos?
...the book has been regularly updated up to 1990 and is an
unbelievable source of information for laymen as well as
experts?
...I firmly believe that nobody should be without it?
...an update of the book would perhaps not be a bad idea, as some
of the information contained in it is dated by now?
..., in the last two years that I have a Megafile 60 and keep
track of all my correspondence, I've written over 550 letters
totalling to well over 3.5 megabyte?
...this does not include the 2.3 megabyte of Crazy Letters from
and to Norwegians that I have stocked on the same hard disk as
well?
...I'd like to think I take my correspondence quite seriously?
...this is an invitation to all interesting people among you to
write to me?
...ST NEWS received feedback from Poland?
...there seems to be quite an enthusiastic ST community there?
...they do the magazine "ST Professional"?
...you can contact them care of Krzysztof Wroblewski, Ul. Radosci
10/18, 20-530 Lublin, Poland?
...their English knowledge is limited but their Polish is rather
excellent (I suppose)?
...I recently found out the latin name of my cute little hamster
that I got on Christmas 1991 and called Cronos?
...it's Phodopus roborovskii, which is a 'short-tail-dwarf-
hamster'?
...its classification is order Rodentia (rodents), suborder
Myomorpha (mice-like things), superfamily Muriodea, family
Cricetidae (hamsters and some mice), subfamily Crictinea (true
hamsters)?
...I would advise anyone to buy such a neat little animal?
...they're cute, agile and quick, they don't bite and they can
drop a long way without getting hurt?
...Furyo (of the French Overlanders) has finished secondary
school and has started studying at University?
..., actually, he should already have started well by the time
you read this?
...the studies he selected is English?
...I like that a lot?
...one of the nicest Nutty Norwegians, Kai Holst, is leaving the
ST?
...the good thing about it, though, is that he'll exchange it for
the Falcon as soon as it becomes available in the Northern
Regions?
...that's kindof good news?
...Kai will, by the way, visit my abode shortly?
...he is to visit me from December 28th to January 2nd,
accompanied by two other friends?
...one of those two other friends is none other than Gard Eggesbø
Abrahamsen (a.k.a. Drag The Insanely Witty One, The Foldable
One, Oh Gard, The One Responsible For This Issue's Corner Of
Lament, The Loneliest Of Norwegians, Zealot of O.U.C.H., Main

...it will concentrate on ways to achieve incincibility, infinite
lives and that sort of thing?

Netherlands)?

future issue (possibly all of them)?
See you then!
