"I'm calling you from the Kriss Kross Krolly Kraxer. We've got
to Guy chochonooga crawling down. From the dance floor floor to
the chilli chilli nuts stand of the other corner of the my living
room floor of the second ceiling around by crawl crilises
zeazealand cocks... You must crawl my crill and do the
chambochurl. Move the floor over the building, take it from the
ceiling and go down the baby babe sets... Do the choka choka.
Living on the life. Stepping out the front floor to the ceiling

(that is 'violence' for those who don't understand smart ass
stuff)
"They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears
into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war any more"
Isaiah Ch.2. v.4.

Dedicated to all who never use violence no matter how tempting
it might be. It's also dedicated to all pacific diplomats,
Amnesty International, Citizens against gun violence, Non-
fighting Generation and Guardian Angels.

Aurora Borealis deals with things that are eating all of us (or
almost), My intention is that one essay should be finished in
time for each issue of ST NEWS. Each article will deal with one
topic. The subjects might very well be: Life & death, religion,
drugs, jobs, gnus, the size of corn flakes or just anything that
you most probably can relate to. No less, no more. Aurora
Borealis always contains quite a lot of important quotes.

The death clock tolls for you my victim
Yeah, you're dying for our pleasure
We've ain't got nuthin' better to do
Than hang around and slaughter you
yeah, you're becoming our new victim
We've lost the conception, feel the pressure
Another drive by, mercy killings, accidents, holocaust.
Always to be found in the human forecast.
You're a pedestrian below the ticking numbers.
They keep increasing, soon your number is up.
Stop the counting now, break in, interrupt.
Don't you ever die, fuck the numbers.
Dying today in New York, Sarajevo, Stockholm, Somalia.
Control, power, maiming, torturing, mania.
Dying today in Los Angeles, Berlin, Amsterdam.
Money, dismembering, cash, goddamn!

CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS - Original Ten-Bill of Rights
2. Right to keep and bear arms
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Question: What is violence?
Answer: Violence is when someone's being violent.
Question: What time is violence?
Answer: It can unfortunately be at any time.
Question: Is it violence?
Answer: Yes, if somebody has got too much adrenaline and too low
an IQ.
You know that it's violence when...
..you have somebody else's fist stuck in your stomach
..you see that somebody's kicking you
..you find some bullets in your head
..you feel somebody spanking you
..you feel somebody hitting you in any way
..you realize that there is a doggone shithead who's abusing his
woman
There is simply too much violence too goddamn often.
"Outside the street's on fire
in a real death waltz
Between what's flesh and fantasy
And the poets down here
don't write nothing at all"
Bruce Springsteen
This is an attempt at finding the background of the "aniara"
human..
What's happening to earth? What's happening to people? Where are
we heading? When will we exceed the limit? And why the hell is my
lunch getting cold?
"The whole world is doomed yeah. We're all gonna die.
25672 people die every single minute uh-huh oh yeah.
Seventeen hundred and fifty people just died.
Cancer, death, aids, inflation, taxes, George Bush,
hell, Satan, cancer of the face, cancer of the colon,
cancer of the wrist and John Denver on compact disc. Oh"
Denis Leary
An attempt at explaining the cause...
I think it's nuthin' but doggone shit to blame computer games,
violent movies, role playing games, knives and guns for the
increasing violence in the society of today. You don't get
interested in stabbing people because you've bought a knife, it's
the other way around. You buy a knife because you're interested
in stabbing people. The same goes for games and violent movies.
You watch violent movies because you like violence (at least as
fiction), you don't start to like violence because you watch pulp
movies. The only thing you can ascribe to violent movies is an
increase of nasty ideas (wow! look at that! that's a cool way to
maim...).
"Natural Born Killers"
I think the true cause is social and economical misery. I would
like to inform you that I don't believe that the following
descriptions are true for everybody, but I think it's accurate to
a great majority's background. Child abuse, incest, mobbing,
abuse and poverty are the true causes for violence.
"My friend of misery"
Metallica
It's so easy for the society to blame movies and games. The
society is fucking running away from it's responsibility! All
politicians ought to wake up and realize their guilt.
"With a nine millimeter cocked at your dome"
Biohazard
But then again, it isn't yet too late to act...
"From evolution we've been killing each other. I figure man
should have it down to a silence. No chance, not for a minute,
not for a second. I won't be defensive. I'm straight out in my
opinion. You'd better listen to a man who knows what he's
saying."
No Good(Attack the radical)/Pantera
"Environment made you smart. Just another victim. Just another
victim. Just another victim."
Just another victim / Helmet & House of Pain
It's of course easier to kill a person with a gun, rifle or
anything similar than with a knife. I think there should be more
restrictions on owning fire arms. It should also be illegal to
carry knives and other similar arms on public places. But then
again, guns don't kill people, people do.
"Peace sells... but who's buying?"
Megadeth
I don't think we can blame music or drugs either. Drugs don't
make you violent if you haven't got latent aggressions inside of
you, I think. Alcohol make you become YOU in the extreme. But
it's still you, you don't become a totally different person. When
someone's going berserk it's almost always guys that you would
think could get aggressively insane. I think the reason is
psycho-social problems. Well, some people suffer from delirium
tremens too, I guess. I can only relate to myself. I'm no
archetype, or? I think it's too easy to blame the use of Alcohol.
"Your driver is drunk and hooked on crack. The man sitting next
to you has a loaded nine millimetre. Good luck folks! Honey get
the camera this is gonna be fucking great... We've got a real
problem with guns in this country. We have people snapping almost
twice, three, four, five times a year. People just snap. They
can't take it anymore. They snap. They go to McDonalds and kill
fifteen people. I mean what the fuck is going on down at the post
office? Every six months some guy gets fired and comes back and
kills all his co-workers. If I worked at a post office as
supervisor I wouldn't lay anyone off the next 25 fucking years.
I'd just walk around going "Hanrahan, what are you doing?". -
Nothing. -Well keep it up your doing a great job. Jeeesus. I'll
tell ya".
Denis Leary
What about capital punishment then? Well, look at the U.S.A!
Both the penalties of death and the killings are increasing in
the States. Capital punishment doesn't change a thing. Perhaps
people choose the gas chamber or electric chair before 230 years
in jail, I don't know. But it's obvious that capital punishment
is a way to make the masses (i.e. lynch mobs) satisfied. I don't
think the situation would get better in the States if the use of
capital punishment was forbidden, but I don't think it would get
worse either. Perhaps we oughta ask ourselves if we would be
happy living in a fucking carbon box on the street. Would we like
getting spanked by our parents?
"He is rockabilly. Mean, surly, nasty, rude. In that movie he
couldn't give a fuck about nothing except rock n' roll, living
fast, dying young and make a good-looking corpse, you know. I
watch that hillbilly and I wanna be him so bad"
Line from True Romance, script written by Quentin Tarantino
Would we like being discriminated? Would we like being somebody
else at all? Well, these questions must be asked. I don't think
we'll ever live to see the day when violence is nuthin' but a bad
memory.
"In a world where so many have died, to parcel out more death is
surely the gravest sin"
Stephen King (written in The Stand)
"Most often it was not how fast a man was, but how willing"
Wyatt Earp
Violence is always meaningless. Violence is always a crime. Why
did two kids kill an even younger kid? Why did James Bulgar have
to die? Why are people killing each other? We say that somebody
acts like an animal when he/she gets furious and goes berserk.
That's wrong, animals don't go berserk just for the heck of it.
Animals kill to eat. Human beings kill for fun. Now I say that
somebody acts like a human being when he/she kills due to hatred.
"You can't run. I'm gonna get you. You can't hide. I'm gonna
find you. You can't run I'm gonna kill you. You can't hide I'm
gonna kill you... Come and die. Come and die. Come and die. Come
and die with me."
Come and die / Therapy? and Fatal
"When I had thrown the first stone at his head I couldn't stop
and I didn't want to stop. I got a kick when I smashed his head.
It was a great feeling. Then I changed clothes and went to a
pizzeria with my friend who also threw stones at this guy"
[This quote is translated and therefore slightly
edited]
Two murderers (16 and 17 years old, I think)
What the fuck is that? I'm against capital punishment but when I
hear something like this I start to consider the possibility of
sentencing these kind of guys to eternal torture. I get so upset
that I don't know how to react.
"I'll kill you 'til you're dead"
How can somebody say that it was great to kill somebody. How the
fuck can somebody get a kick out of killing somebody and then
smashing the same person to pieces? How deranged can a person be?
How fucking empty in the brain can a person be?
"With a hole in the head that you can see through"
Biohazard
Why do so many people have to die? Why do some robbers have to
kill a person who just gave them his money? No matter in what
situation a person kills another human being it's a damn crime.
Well, it's a crime to kill animals too (if you're not gonna eat
them). Did you know that if you kill an American Police Dog
you'll be charged for murder.
"Butcher me on the court
Too many elbows to report
Now you're poking me in the eye
Bill Laimbeer motherfucker it's time for you to die"
Tough guy/Beastie Boys (Ill Communication)
We've got to treat our fellow human beings better. We've got to
prevent violence. We've got to fight against abuse (with words).
We've got to become a "Non-killing Generation".
"We need help, the Poet reckoned"
Edward Dorn
Meanwhile you've been reading this the "death clock" in New York
has kept on ticking and the numbers keep increasing... Remember
one thing, make peace not war. If you have got to kill something,
kill some time.
"Protection and going out and having fun"
I'd like to sum this up with some more quotes. The following
quotes are taken from the documentary "Amerikas Beväpnade Stater"
(translation: The Armed States of America). Quite bewildering,
controversial, weird, and unique ones.. The documentary was made
by Folke Rydén.
"I am a Christian and I believe in the bible. And I also believe
in the right to bear arms. And the two do not conflict. The right
to bear arms was given by God".
Gene Howard
"We never, never, shoot to wound or disable. If you're not gonna
shoot to kill, then don't shoot"
A gun/shooting instructor
"This is around from an AK47. It is because of this I am alive
today. You hear all this controversy about so called assault
weapons. How horrible assault weapons are. Well, if he had come
in with a shotgun, honey rifle, thirty-thirty, none of us would
have made it. Out of 20 people that were shot, 12 lived. I've
always been pro-gun.. We need to get back to basics, so that we
can get our country back from the cricket politicians, and from
the criminals and become what we should become as a society. And
guns will help us do that. I carry this to remind myself how
grateful I am he used an AK47, because of it -I'm alive"
Jacquie Miller
"We demand! We insist! No more guns!"
