 ST  NEWS  is  a non-commercial disk  magazine  written  for  and
written  by  Atari  ST/TT/Falcon  computer  enthusiasts.   It  is
published   at  irregular  intervals  by  the  Amazing   Cracking
Conspiracy  (of the world's most virtual group ever to  roam  the
scene,  Quartermass  Experiment),  and spread through the  Public
Domain.

 The  distributors marked with an asterisk (*) behind their  name
sell  ST NEWS at Public Domain prices.  You'd better send them  a
letter plus some International Reply Coupons to get to know their
stock and prices first.  The other distributors (i.e.  those with
no asterisk,  in case you're daft) only need to receive a disk  +
reply postage + reply envelope (and a donation now and then). For
the  ones selling at PD prices,  please first inquire  what  they
require.
 People in Holland and in countries where no official distributor
exists are invited to send disk(s) plus sufficient reply  postage
to the ST NEWS correspondence address.
 If  you  have any complaints about them (like them  not  sending
your disks back at all) please write to me so that I can start to
attempt finding new ones.  This sounds a bit crude,  I know,  but
there  is  no  other  way  to  establish  whether  they're  still
functioning!

 To  check out which people contributed (directly or  indirectly)
to this issue of ST NEWS (apart from the actual editorial staff),
check out the scroller, please (that way, at least the people who
want their names mentioned should read it!).

 Special  thanks  need to go to the people  responsible  for  the
programs  without which I would have had a harder  time  creating
this product. ST NEWS officially endorses: "Devpac Developer ST",
"GfA  Basic",  "1st  Word  Plus"  and  "ST  Zip"  (postcardware).
Although  the following products weren't necessary per  se,  they
did make the conception process a thoroughly more enjoyable  one:

"Geneva".

 The  editor  accepts  no responsibility  for  any  damage  caused
directly or indirectly by the use of any of the information given
in  this  issue  of  ST NEWS nor  the  information  contained  in

their viewpoints and possible conflicts with other people  caused
by the publication of their article(s) in ST NEWS.

 Although  ST NEWS belongs to the Public Domain,  the  individual

 The  ST  NEWS editorial staff reserves the right  to  add  witty
quotes  to  all submissions except where deemed  explicitly  ill-
fitting.  Also,  any  literary submission may be used in the  bi-
monthly  on-line  fiction-only  multi-format  ST  NEWS   spin-off
magazine, "Twilight World".
