SOLUTION TO DRAGON'S LAIR

This solution has appeared before in the March 1991 issue of
"STupendous", the official magazine of the UK Atari ST Uers
Association. For address and membership fees, please refer to
this issue's "Did you know that..." article.
Scene 1 - The Drawbridge
You walk across the bridge, then you suddenly fall. As you fall,
you start swinging, press fire to swipe at the tentacles. As the
sword swipes, push up and the tentacles will try to grab you but
they miss. You run into the castle.
Scene 2 - The Potion room
You walk in. At first, you see a potion labelled "Drink me". But
don't when it flashes. Then you notice the door to the left which
also flashes. When it flashes quickly pull left and hold it
there.
Scene 3 - The Tentacle room
As .you walk in the tentacles go to hit you. Quickly press the
fire button. The weapons flash, push up, the push left. Then the
stairs flash. Pull down as you walk up the stairs. The table
flashes. Pull left, then immediately push up and you go through
the door.
Scene 4 - The Deadly Checkerboard
As you walk in the night stamps his sword. Pull right and then
immediately pull right then push up, pull right then pull left,
then pull right again then push left. As the knight goes to slash
you with his knife, press the fire button, try to pull the
direction you want to go just before you land.
Scene 5 - Ye Olde Whirlpool
As you come to be sucked into the rapid, just pull left. The
same applies to the other two.
Scene 6 - Ye Olde Rapids
As soon as you appear on the screen pull right, then as the
screen changes just pull up. The same applies to the other two
rapid screens.
Scene 7 - The Green Slime Monster
Just press the fire button as he goes to drink the potion, and
he will automatically exit the room.
Scene 8 - The Bats
As you start descending the stairs, a bit of the stairs will
flash and suddenly break. All you have to do is pull left each
time it flashes. This repeats itself three times.
Scene 9 - The Rolling Balls
As you start a ball come for you. Just pull down. When the
screen changes, just pull down. This happens six times, but all
you have to do it pull down.
Scene 10 - The Wall
As the wall close up, the door beyond will flash. As it flashes
push up and you will make it through the Wall.
Scene 11 - The Lair - Part I
As you start some stuff is about to fall. Just pull left to
catch it then pull down then left and you arrive at another
scene. Just pull down to catch the falling Pots, then the girl
will say "Take the magic sword". Just press the fire button and
hold it until the program asks for DISK 4.
Scene 12 - The Lair - Part II
As the dragon tries to grab you, pull down then immediately
left. Then press the fire button to grab the sword. Once you have
the sword, the dragon's tail will start to swing at you. Pull
down to avoid it (do this three times). After the third time,
press the fire button to kill the dragon.
Then sit back and watch the End Sequence...
