"Please apply labial suction to my posterior."
Someone quote
SOON COMING IN "ST NEWS" - VOLUME 7 ISSUE 2
(ER...THE FIFTH UNDEAD ISSUE!)
by Richard Karsmakers
Instead of all that bullshit you could find in some previous
issues' "Soon Coming" articles, I would now rather prefer to get
right down to business immediately.
Sorry for those of you that had expected more interrupts and all
that crazy shit.
Note: In the course of my English study I have come into contact
with people from various other countries where English is spoken.
They told me that the word 'shit' is sometimes considered awfully
rude. Please let me explain to you that use of the word 'shit' is
as normal as the word 'nose' or 'potato' in Holland. Apparently,
it does not have the heavy load upon it that it has in some other
countries. Therefore, apologies are in order. You should note
that we do not intend to be insulting or anything like that.
We're merely being Dutch. This note applies to all other
occurrances of the s-word throughout this issue of ST NEWS.
End of note on writing ethics.
So what may we offer in the next issue of this altogether maybe
not all too unremarkable disk magazine called ST NEWS?
By now, Douglas Adams is probably back in France again and the
likelihood of us ever getting a reply to the interview I sent
somewhere in 1990 is below what can be expected to be one in a
million (i.e. not a whole lot). This definitely proves that he is
an arrogant sod. Sorry, Adams worshippers: He's just another
bastard who makes great books yet doesn't care about the people
that make it possible for him to earn a living. There is a small
possibility of an interview with Joe Satriani but, again, do note
that the possibility I speak of is a very small one.
But allow me to hack the crap to bits (i.e. 'cut the crap' in
case you wondered) and get all this shit (there we have that word
again) down in a clear, readable form (thus making sure you don't
have to weed though enormous amounts of proze to filter it out).

That's it, chums! I hope nonetheless that this meagre list of
forthcoming (or not) stuff will cause you to harass your Public
Domain Librarian for ST NEWS Volume 7 Issue 2 (i.e. the
Fifth Undead Issue). Do not expect this until late summer or
probably even autumn! If you feel this is too much time between
two issues, do feel free to write a lot of interesting stuff
yourself and send it to us!
Well, actually, the things we should be able to offer in the
near future do not comprise a 'meagre' list. Nonetheless, you are
invited to have a go at writing things for us!
Disclaimer
The text of the articles is identical to the originals like they appeared
in old ST NEWS issues. Please take into consideration that the author(s)
was (were) a lot younger and less responsible back then. So bad jokes,
bad English, youthful arrogance, insults, bravura, over-crediting and
tastelessness should be taken with at least a grain of salt. Any contact
and/or payment information, as well as deadlines/release dates of any
kind should be regarded as outdated. Due to the fact that these pages are
not actually contained in an Atari executable here, references to scroll
texts, featured demo screens and hidden articles may also be irrelevant.
